I love to dance and have been dancing my whole life.  I have performed and studied with many great choreographers including Nichelle Thrower of We Are Heroes (winners of 2009 America’s Best Dance Crew); Michael Peters (who directed and appeared in Michael Jackson’s Beat It video); Corey Action (founder of Oakland-based hip hop studio, New Style Motherlode); Patsy Swayze, Patrick’s mother; and the late Ed Mock of San Francisco, one of the truly great dance geniuses of our time. Ed taught me many things including body awareness, control, and how to feel the music.

I decided to teach Zumba® to help others get and stay in shape, while having fun with dance fitness.
